Peace in the Middle of Pain


Father, pain has a way of distorting my thoughts and pulling me into discouragement. But even in the discomfort, I know You are here. You never promised a life free from pain, but You did promise Your presence through it all. Give me peace that passes understanding—peace that doesn’t require everything to be fixed before I can breathe.

Let my faith rise in the middle of the hurt. Let my lips still praise You, even when it’s through tears. I may not know why I’m going through this, but I know who is with me. And that changes everything.
